Pirates by David Harrison
We were a rough and tumble lot, not at all like you see in the movies. A collection of poems describes the highs and lows of a pirate's life at sea.
I love this book because its is so realistic and the poems tell how the pirates live and were they are now. I love that book :] its so disciptive the awsome part is the barried treaser
Yikes! being a pirate can be very rough, you hurt and kill and hardley get anything. sinning is dreadful ans scary in my case. Although all that the story was amazing and the ilistasions are beautiful.
i thought this book was good. the pictures were amazing really vivid. the poetry was very good. its really differnt than movies about pirates. i also learned there are still pirates out there!
*** Pirates was a interesting book.It was a poetry book. The book was mainly about Pirates life.How they have rules and if you don't obey those rules. You get consequenses like, getting flogged, get left on a island, or killing you. It's not like cartoon pirates that we watch. Totally diffrent. I would just say I would not want to be a pirate .
I loved this book! The pictures are so vivid! The book is really cool because it shows the life of a pirate. I sort of felt sad for the pirate at the end. (He had to do the rope dance thing)
This book was great!!!My favorit poem was when the pirate and he was talking about how he was bored and they wern't finding any treasher.All they could eat was turtle soup and he was not having a good at all.
This book is very interesting, it tells the story by poems. It's really cool how when they're hiring the pirates they're telling what they've look like what they've done.
** The illustrations were good. Although I love biographies and poems, I am not really interested in pirates. This book would be good for boys who like gruesome things.

I liked this book because i love poatry. But I wouldn't like to be a pirate. Heres some reasons why. If i do something wrong I may get marooned orget whiped by the catonine tails. So if i were you, I wouldn't be a pirate.
This book was about a man who was homeless and most men who were homeless back at the time of the book usually became pirates. The story tells about his experiences of being a pirate from life to death. I rate this book "great".

ReplyDeleteThis potrey book was filled with stealing gold, man's word, and awesome pictures. But eventually,the pirate had to pay for what it did in the end.
